Sunrise sessions might just be my new favorite thing.
In all honesty, when Mariah said she was down for an early AM shoot, I was nervous and hyped at the same time. For starts, being able to rise with the sun in my new state was super exciting. Colorado definitely didn't disappoint with their sunset.
I'm so beyond blessed to live in this state. It's crazy to think I've finally made it and live here.
Anywho, back to these cuties.
It was so great getting to our spot at just the perfect moment: 5:20am.
You read that right, AM.
We got out of the car and the light was just filling the sky. We headed up into Red Rock Canyon through a trail we found and just picked out spots we liked.
We hiked a lot more than we thought we would haha. We were trying to find out where the lake was, we had seen it in so many other photos. So we hiked all around a mountain looking for it, and when we finally got there, we realized we could have gone a much easier way than we went.
But oh well, it's about the adventure right?
The views were totally amazing. And the air was nice and fresh. Not too hot, not too cold. I would definitely do another sunrise shoot for sure.
Plus it gave us more time to get to know each other. I had such a great time meeting these two. They were such goofballs which is such a great quality to have in clients. It makes for great photos.
