Shelby + Kyle
Shelby + Kyle reached out to me right around the time I had first moved to Colorado. They were going to be on vacation and were looking to get engagement photos done at the stunning Garden of the Gods. Thankfully, I live crazy close to the park so I was up for the adventure immediately!
It was such a nice, summer night when we met up in the park. They drove all the way from Missouri and this had to be one of their stops along the way. I don't blame them. Garden of the Gods is gorgeous, any time of the year but especially in the summer. The weather seems to always be perfect here for a nice night out in nature.
So we met up and we walked around and found the perfect starting spot. The sun was peeking through just right. We eventually made our way towards the main gardens. While we were out and goofing around they told me of their love story and how they met. They told me about their families and how excited they were for the upcoming wedding. They honestly were the most down to earth couple I've dealt with. They were so sweet.
While we were taking photos, a deer family made their way through our session. It was amazing how unfazed they were with us being there. They came super close to us.
After we were finished we headed back and said our goodbyes. I wished them safe travels home.
After a few weeks I was able to get Shelby their photos and I must say to this date it is one of my favorite sessions I've done.
I can't wait for more summer night sessions in 2021!
