Short. Simple. Sweet.

This won't be a super long blog post since I did this quick shoot for my best friend.

Jay and Chels had to postpone their wedding this month because of the COVID-19 pandemic. BUT the good news is, they only postponed their reception.

They are still getting married this month. Just in a different way. They decided to have a rooftop elopement with just close family.

There won't be a huge gathering but it will still be a huge celebration for these too.

Anyway, Chelsey asked me to film her elopement. I have never done video before but I thought, okay sure, I'm up for the challenge. We decided to head out to a safe space to practice. I shot some film, and to be honest, I had no clue what I was doing, And it actually kind of turned out great because some of the video where I had no idea I was recording had some great content.

Holy cow. Editing video is HARD ya'll.

But I did my best. I also cried for awhile when the project I was working on crashed and didn't save any of my work (never trust autosave).

If you'd like to see the video you can head over to my instagram page! It's uploaded as an IGTV (@amandamccannphoto).

But since photo is my thing, here are some pictures from that night! I am know officially a lover of blue hour.
